Before you torque

Use a calibrated torque wrench and the manufacturer’s own driver. Never exceed the stated maximum: over-torquing is a leading cause of screw fracture.
Healing abutments, healing caps and cover screws are hand-tight unless the IFU says otherwise.
Third-party and “compatible” components (Atlantis, Medentika, DESS and others) follow their own IFU, which can differ from the original manufacturer.
Values change between product generations. When the IFU or package insert disagrees with this sheet, the IFU wins.
